OK, well I’m not as ‘down under’ as, say, Australia. But I’m definitely further south than the midwest in balmy Florida right now. I know I said I wasn’t going to blog on my vacay, but I also didn’t have time to post a ‘gone fishin’ sign before I left, so here I am. The rest of my fam is at Wal-mart getting last minute Disney supplies, and I’m by myself (wahoo!) while my son is down for a nap. Perfect time for a blog, wouldn’t you say?
Can I just tell you all how much I abhor my parents’ laptop keyboard. The right shift key is in the wrong place. Not good. i guess i could just type in all lower case. i don’t know, that bugs the part of me that maybe wanted to be an english teacher until i realized teachers work for free. OR I COULD TYPE IN ALL CAPS…BUT THIS MAKES IT SEEM LIKE I’M SHOUTING WHEN I’M NOT. BACK TO THE TEACHER THING, SOMEHOW I FAILED TO REALIZE THAT THERAPISTS, TOO, WORK NEARLY FOR FREE. THEY FORGOT TO TELL ME THAT IN GRAD SCHOOL.
OK, I’ll just type normal. It’s been excellent to see the fam. My son is in heaven getting spoiled rotten…it should be a fun adjustment when we get home in a few weeks. I’m having a hekuva time keeping track of my meds since I’m so far off any semblance of a regular schedule. But the day before I left, I got THE PACKAGE in the mail…don, don, don…
THE IVF MEDICATION BOUNTY, a treasure chest…

…holding all the little bubble wrapped packages of loot:

And in that shot is my awesome calendar just for kicks and grins!
Maybe I’ll stop by and see you guys again…this wasn’t half bad to post, even while on ‘holiday’!!!!

Beautiful Mess
Glad you’re having so much fun and your little guy is getting spoiled. That’s the way it’s suppose to be!
That calendar and your medication are very beautiful! So many colors and words and shiny, sharp objects.
I hope you continue to enjoy your vacation and you take lots of pictures! AND we get to see some of them!

I’m glad you’re having a great time in the most wonderful place on earth. Looks like you had Christmas in July with the size and contents of that package. So many toys with a rainbow of pretty colors. I hope it does the trick for ya! Have fun and a safe trip back!

Everytime a blogger posts a picture of “stuff” on their kitchen counter, I’m always peeking in the background to see how they decorate their house. Am I the only one? (Love the wall color, btw.)
Enjoy the rest of your trip!

So glad you got your fun box o’ meds before you left. I’m excited that you are getting on the IVF rollercoaster – hopefully it will be a short ride for you!
Speaking of rollercoasters – you are totally inspiring me to go on a Disney vaca; probably Disneyland since we’re over in WA, but with the whole (or at least some) of the extended family. Fun. Have a great time, can’t wait to hear all about it.

Enjoy your vacation! It’s amazing how much space all of that fertility “stuff” takes up — in the box, on the calendar, on the brain…
I’m glad you are incorporating a little quality REAL roller coaster time into your fertility treatment roller coaster time. tee hee.
Best to you!

Hope you are enjoying the balmy south and I was grinning when I read about your son getting spoiled. We ALL need that some time. Wishing you the best of luck in your upcoming cycle and I look forward to finding out how your new handbag held up while on vaycay.
