Well, I’m joining the Show & Tell class over at Stirrup Queens (http://stirrup-queens.blogspot.com/). It’s been a long time since my last show and tell, like maybe since kindergarten. The only thing I really remember showing was my childhood dog, Lisa, and watching with pride as the kids swarmed to pet her, while she got so nervous she peed on the circle time rug. The lucky kids in the class got to show off their brand new baby brothers and sisters for show & tell. But being the youngest in my family meant that I wouldn’t get the warmhearted giggles and oooing that they got. I can picture it in my head though:
“Today I brought in my brother, he’s 11. He’s a boy scout. And, um, he likes to take electronic things apart…and eat canned peaches. Uh, Want to hold him?”
Yeah, that wouldn’t have worked so well.
Anyway, I’ll show off my newest arrival that came in just today: My Mommy!!!! She flew in from Florida to see me. Woo-hoo! It’s great to have my mom here, especially this week since I’m going to be finding out if my cyst is growing as a result of the clomid and if I have to have surgery. Good time for a mom’s love refill.
Plus, my mom gets IF completely. She also had IF (thanks for the genes, Mom) and completely understands all my insane IF issues. Here’s the best I can do with a picture, it’s cookies we made the last time she flew in…yum! I’m ready for another batch please!
